No problem! We worked on different combinations of triplet patterns with the bass and the left hand over a jazz ride pattern and 2 and 4 on the high hat. (hope that makes sense) But we basicly just jamed together and worked on rudiments around the kit.

He is ferocious!  I like his 4-way in the groove.

Good find.

Is that the Steve Jordan/Levon Helm cover or the Mashugga drummer's cover?

The Meshuggah's issue!

...Got it in the mail yesterday.  Lots of info. in this one.  By the way, Jeff Sipe is labeled as a "Jam Band Drummer."  What's that all about?  ?/?  I don't even like that term. >:(

Jam bands mostly improvised music with no set arrangement. On Improvision, the cd this clip was taken from, afewof the songs were done on the spot in the studio with no prior rehearsal. Someone would start playing and everyone else would fall in. Its pretty cool to me how these musicians are so in tune with each other!

So is Dave Matthews Band and Medeski, Martin & Wood. So is the Greatful Dead and in some circles Pink Floyd.
