For the Record, I was trying to see his point of view, not stating mine. lol. I think it looks very comfy and thats what matters most.  ;D

For the Record:  I know. ;)
Psalms 144.1 - "Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle."

"OK. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and take a guess as to what ojay is referring to.

The angle of his snare. That is not something that most of us suggest when one asks as to how to setup. Also the angle of his toms appear to be steeper than most would suggest. I think thats what he was trying to get at. "- E.R.

Thats exactly what i was trying to get at E.R.....but after revieving those pics J Funky put up..and his explanation of everything involving David G's setup I stand corrected.

Thanks fellas!

...alright, I went back and reviewed the thread and saw the Youtube clip and I agree with you.....his toms are steep on the clip. :-[

...the pics' I've posted are of his new and improved set up which is ergo.  His older set up really wasn't. IMHO.  So you're right on your behalf sir. IMO  My bad.  :-[ ;)

Well, Vinnie's kit back in the day might not have been the most erogonomic place in the world either.  He sat practically on the floor.

...yup.  He does mention it in his last MD article.  His toms were set up ugly too.  Gotta love the 70's and 80's drummers. LOL
