A sticky is a very informative topic that you see at the top of the forum index page (on this site, they're highlighted in purple).  Just think of it ie a "Post-It" note.  It's a topic that everyone should definitely check out.  A topic is made a "sticky" by the moderators.

Thanks for all the links chevonee!  I can tell that took a lot of work and will take a long time to review all of them.  I have started recording some video lessons.  Someone on another site was asking about fingering of the F major scale.  I demonstrate how to do the fingering for C and F major scales, showing how to tuck the thumb/fingers under.  I hope this helps somebody:
