I get the progression (it's 'Come let us adore Him').

What I don't understand is the use of the C & D, as well as, that Bb chord (I dislike that chord, greatly, BTJM). :-\

The chords that are been use is not in Eb major those are some changes in F# thats why he might have  said Eb minor because F#changes.

I'd like to hear how these chords are applied, if you'd be so kind.   ;D

I am still not seeing it then because that 1 chord is definitely major.

The 4 chord is definitely Ab with is the 4 of Eb
The Bb looks to be a minor flat 5ish chord which can still be considered the 5.
The Eb is major

So it looks like 4 5 1 in Eb

I gotta agree with others, the first part of it sounds great, but that second part is garbage.  That Bb chord doesn't sound good at all, and it doesn't make any sense.  Are you sure you typed this out right?  I'm thinking you mispelled something.

You mind posting a clip or link to the song so that we can heart it?  I still say you may have copied the chords wrong, but that's just me.

Nope. where does it occur? BTW, is that V. Michael Mckay in the Tenor section (with the gray hair and glasses when the Tenors sing their part, 'if it wasn't for your grace, where would I be')?

O.K., I hear where the progression is Cmajor13.  Unfortunately, it's not a 4-5-1 change, it's just a 7-3-6 change that ends with a major 6, what we call a Picardy 3rd.  The bass goes F, Bb, Eb, not Ab, Bb, Eb.  Plus, those chords aren't what's being played in the clip.  It looks like someone gave you some bum chords man.  Here's what I hear:

Key Gb

Ab / Cb-Eb-Ab  gra-
Bb / Bb-Db-Gb  aaa
Cb / Ab-Cb-Eb aaa
C / Bb-Eb-Gb  aaa
Db / Ab-Db-F  ace,

Here's the 7-3-6 change:

F / A-Db-Eb-Ab
Bb / Ab-Db-Fb  gra-
Eb / Bb-D-Gb  aaa-
Eb / Bb-Eb-G  ace,

The whole part of this song revolves around a 2-5-7-3-6 progression being played over and over again.  It's modified of course to a b5-7-3-6 before that little change at the end.

Nope. where does it occur?

Hey sjon, the change comes in when they all sing "Graaacceee" at :29 sec. on that song.

the chords that are posted he is playing to the melody and the chords u posted are from what u hear,so i wouldnt say they are wrong because when playing by ear we all play on how we hear the song in our head. its not like those chords are way out there in left field most of the time when playing a song people pick up on the melody before the pick up on the chords,so maybe that what he was trying to do.

I played through those chords and tried to match them with the song, but I didn't hear anything that was even remotely close to those last 3 chords you got, except maybe the last one.  The point is, it's not a 4-5-1 change, that's what I'm really disagreeing with you on.  There's nothing to establish the key of Eb minor, so it can't be a 4-5-1. I don't care what the RH does, it's the left hand that names it.

My question to you is did you actually play through those chords you got exactly as they were posted?  If so, do you think they matched up with the song?
