Credits Go To:  cas10a     &  Hammondman

Hammond, glad all is good!!  no harm, no foul.  After playing those chords over and over. I could hear where the progression was going on that last chord, and it was nice. Below is what I was hearing from your arrangement. I modified some of the chords, just because it was more comfortable for me to play, but kept the root chords of your progression.

LH/RH Chord-Degree-Lyric
C/BDEG  - 1 - God
BbAb/CE  - Has
AbEb/GBbCEb - Smiled
GF/GCDF - on
CE/ADG  - 1 – me

Here is 1 spot I would have probably stayed at the 1 & just change chord selection back to original degree 1 chord used on Lyric “God” above, although I’m guessing you were using the circle of fourths to get from the “Bb” chord back to “Ab” which works too.
C/BDEG  - 1 – He
Eb/GCDbF - has
AbEb/GBbCEb – set
GF/GCDF  - me
This was the chord in question, but now I see that you just modified the chord selection and used a flat 5. I still prefer going back to the 1 chord above “CE/ADG”, but that is musical preference, after playing over, it sounded good both ways.
***CE/ADF#  - 1 – Free

I am still learning, and this rendition helped out a lot (I never would have thought to play it this way).  If you have time I would like to see how you would do the rest of the song and if I’ve made errors in the theory above, let me know.  I like this so much, I attempted to complete the song progression below.

Passing - Bb/AbCDG
Passing – Ab/AbCDF
E/GBbDG – God
AF/BbDbFBb, AE/AC#EA – Ha -as
DC/FACE – Smiled
ED/EGBE – on
F#E/F#AC – Me
DC/FACE – He’s Been
G/FAbBD – Good
Db/BEbFBb - to
CE/ADF#A – Me  (There’s that chord, nice!!)
Trust in the Lord and do good so shalt thou dwell in the land and verily thou shalt be fed.

Then you right back at the beginning chord C / G-C-E.

Another  turnaround you can do is this:

G / F-G-C-D
/ F-G-B-D  (slide C to B, hold everything else down)

Then you right back at the beginning chord C / G-C-E.

This is my suggestion. Print out the E-books and Chord Book. Also, here is something in C that you can practice. Some play the chords in the right hand and the bass in the left and vise versa. And there are people who chord in both hands.

Title: God Has Smiled on Me
Author: Isaiah, Jones, JR.
Chorded By: Daryl Stubbs
Key of: C

L.H. / R.H. Lyrics (left / right hand)
C  /GCE  God
D  /FAC  Has
G  /FGBD  Smiled On
C  /GCE  Me
F  /A C E  He
E  /G B D  Has
D  /F A C  Set
G  /FGBD  Me
C  /GCE  Free
E  /BDG  God
A  /GCE  Has
F  /ACE  Smiled
E  /GBD  On
D  /FAC  Me
D  /FAC, [E]  He's been
G  /FGBD  good
[C]  to
C  /GCE  me

Hi, I am new here and enjoying it, could someone do the  song I am not sure of the name, some of it goes.....so let the storms rage high the dark clouds rise they don't worry me, for I'm sheltered safe within the arms of god, if you could do a midi or some way for me to listen, in the most simple way, I am a beginner, don't know any 7's except f7. Maybe in key of c or Bb.Also I may not be in the right forum, please feel free to tell me, but I need some advice on how to tell which chord most likley will come next, right now I am using trial and error, and need help with some simple runs. Thanks so much. Brenda bbrad@td.net

The name of the song you're looking for is "Sheltered in the arms of God" written by Dottie Rambo.  Maybe that will help you to search out the chords and possibly a midi.
