Correct me if I'm wrong, but I tend to use what you guys call poly chords
to do 11ths and 13th chords.
or example
CEG/BbDF == C11 == I / b7th
CEBb/DFA == C13 == I7/ IImin
Now I still havent really gotten the concept the tritone. I mean I have played it ( I've seen it written on sheet) but I'm not used to its sound so
I'm having trouble trying to figure where it would go for a desired effect.
for example, where in a 6 2 5 1 progression, could I place a tritone?
