What's up bhflow..
A good rule of thumb to "add" stuff to progressions is to use certain passing chords or tones to get you to progression your trying to get to.
With that in mind one way to add passing chords to your progressions is to use a piece of the whole tone scale.
I'd add two chord
C/BbEbAb
D/CFBb
Then re-voice what you have listed (I re-voiced it because I like to keep my chords close together w/ the top note as still as possible unless the melody dictates otherwise)
Eb/DbFGbBb
Ab/CFGbBb
F/EbAbBbC
Bb/DbFBb
Then repeat
C/BbEbAb - on both of these chords the RH is chording a fourth chord starting at the b7 of root note
D/CFBb
to get back to the Eb minor chord
The whole tone scale comes into play starting with the Bb in the bass of the last chord (Bb minor chord).
Notice what the bass note is doing
Bb, C, D - each note is a whole tone or note apart, the whole tone scale is a scale where each note in the scale is a whole tone apart
This bass line will get you back to the Eb min chord.
So many musicians do this. Just be sure to get the timing and rhythm right. If that Eb minor chord falls on the one make sure you sneak those passing chords in a way that will get you back in time to play the Eb minor chord on time.
