FedEx Lost my NEW KEYBOARD!!!!!!

On last Friday, we hadn't received our check from the insurance company (for Redd totaling the Van).  Come to find out, the insurance company had sent the package via DHL like a week earlier.  They had just dropped the package off outside without ringing the doorbell or letting anyone sign for it.  I was hot.

That's how they delivered my Blackberry, too. I was expecting to have to be there to sign, and when they came they just dropped it and rang the bell.  I figure T-Mobile must have it like that to just go around replacing stuff that is stolen off of doorsteps. 

I talked to UPS one time, and they said they'll leave it depending on what neighborhood you live in.  Like thieves are incapable of entering certain neighborhoods.

I still have not received a call from fed-ex asking if the package has been found.  Thats bad business!

You probably won't receive a call,unless you asked for someone to return your call regarding the package.  Unless you specify "Signature Required" most packages delivered(FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) will be left at your door. Attemps will be made to place a package where its not in open view, but that's rare...... then again, it really wasn't lost, just delivered to the wrong address,

All of the shipping companies are a pain but FedEx is the best of a bad lot.  UPS will destroy ANYTHING you ship with them, you could ship a brick and it would end up destroyed.  They are also the most expensive.  DHL does not work universally.

If your package is insured for over $500 (I believe, not sure of the specific amount) a signature is automatically required.

Some of us actually do care. Was it shipped Express, Ground, or Home Delivery? Was a signature required? If not, then normally drivers ring the doorbell, knockl on the door and leave the package.

Sorry your package was misplaced, please accept my apology on behalf of FedEx.

I'm biased towards FedEx as well...I'm glad to see you spoke up.
