Hello All,
I'm not a new bass player, but I've been away from it for quite some time now (about 10 years). Though I've rarely played at all over the last few years, the urge has never left me. To make a long story short, I found my way back into my old church a couple weeks ago, only to find that the organist had quit and my old buddy on guitar was carrying the entire service by himself.
He and my pastor asked if I could help out and of course I agreed. But now, the Praise team is throwing songs at me so fast that I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up, And more importantly, I don't want to sound like I've been away for so long.
I've watched this board for a couple weeks now and I sincerely appreciate all of the great tips and advice you guys are posting. You are truly a blessing!
