I don't know because I played the song and it sounds like he is singing more than that. And then it doesn't make sense, ya know what I mean?

Why are you going to be glad to know of Jesus but then say I don't know of Him? Maybe I'm just really lost.

That is what he is saying, and it makes sense.

The song is called 'Personal Jesus'.  He is happy that he knows God personally instead of knowing of Him.  You know how you know somebody, but you don't have personal communication....so you say that you know 'of' them....same thing.
