« on: August 09, 2006, 12:48:39 PM »
Hey do anyone know what I can buy to make the sound Performance batter on my keyboard?
when I go to other churchs I see musicians they have a box hook up to there keyboards to make it sound batter.
Can anyone tell me what I can get?

That box is probably a sound module. It doesn't make your keyboard sound better but modules do give you better sounds. I have the Roland xv-2020 and it has good strings and synth sounds.

If you want a box you should try them first. The motif racks are pretty good sounding but those aren't in a box shape. Rolands and kurzweils are good too.

Do you have a budget that you work with?
What kind of board are you working with?

It would be pointless to get a sound module if your board cannot sufficiently support it.
