I have posted a video clip to encouage piano players to learn your craft well. I play piano and organ every Sunday since I'm the only musician but I love it when I can play behind good singers and a lead singer. I have selected this song because it embodies the comcept of playing I teach, melody, chords and runs throughout the song. You will hear I "don't" solo when the soloist is singing and I support the choir with starting notes for their parts then chord around the melody of the song. I have several other clips I will share as time goes on. I have a midi of this song so if you want to learn it let me know.

I not even gonna front,  Our  music department viisits your site a lot.  the midi's are great. You have a lot of movement to your music. What does your practice routine consist of.   Do you direct and play, or do you have directors for your various choirs?

I love to play melody lines of most songs and develop chords that support the movement of that line. I practice playing three part harmony on every song then I add bass patterns. This was not easy to learn I had to practice many hours to seperate both hands playing diferent parts. When plaiyg bass I think as a bass player and chords in the right hand.
