No Dennis does not play gospel...... YET!, but can you picture how good it would sound or do yall have any other opinions about how it would sound if he played gospel. Do yall think it would sound like :o, or  :P

I KNOW I GOT SOME PEOPLES HOPES UP AND YALL ARE LIKE  >:(............ BUT PLEASE DON'T KILL ME.......THIS IS FAM.... I'M JUST SPREADING IDEAS!!

yea I gotta admit I thought there was gonna be a clip or something in here of him playin gospel. But he's been able to adapt to the different styles that he plays so I don't see why he wouldn't be able to adapt to playing gospel

On his web site ( or the in the pocket video) it said that his mother was background singer for Motown or somebody and that was his way in. ;D :o ??? :P

That's a given. But because so many gospel players have copied his style I think that people would be disrespectful and for him to cut his wrist to go to another level. He probably would go to another level anyway being that he is that kind of musician and it is a different genre than he normally plays.

umm hello it's dennis here......what's going on with you guys..........i mean are you actually contemplating that he would be bad or something...........guys..........this is Dennis we're talkin bout here........DENNIS.....DENNY.......i mean come on he's not just a drummer he's a percussionist.........nuff said..

Dennis with Israel and New Breed,Tonex or Kim Burrel, Clint Brown, Marvin Sapp or Kirk Franklin or Flow (No offense Jeremy) or Kirk Whalum or Deborah Killings... folk whom can stretch out and bring it. I am talking about some double-pedal fusion shout stuff going on.

Pastor has to come and clear the section because with so many folk over there the audience is looking kinda shabby. It's still about 15 people who refuse to clear the area. Pastor signals for Deebo and the rest of the deacon board to come and do some escorting...*

Dennis playing gospel would reak havoc on the church. Just think of how many people would come to church for just that. Forgive me Lord, but I would be one of them. Deebo would have to jack me up nice in tight.

What! I love Spanky but you cant compare the two....Come on! Spankys good but hes not that good! Ive always thought of Dennis playing s a really fast gospel drummer. But in the last ten years his jazz playing has stepped up! I use to really be into him but I don't know, he just doesn't play with the fire and power he used to in the late 80's to mid 90's.
