I need a technique that will help me make my fingers faster.  I hope that I don't sound rude. Please I don't mean to come off that way (if anyone is or was offended.)

Are your fingers curved or flat when you play? Are your hands relaxed when you play? Do you play with your fingers or do you play with your wrists? Do you utilize all of your fingers to play scales and chords or just 3 that are the most comfortable? Hope this helps.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

Just what I was going to suggest. The Hanon books (there's 100 volumes, I believe, 1 is the easiest and they get harder as the numbers increases) are books that are designed to help the accurancyof your fingers and strengthens them too, this series is what many classical pianist use. There's also another series, it's by a Russian, but it's great too. With both books, you have to be able to sight read because it's on a grand staff.

You can find Hanon at a music store that sells classical sheet music or choral sheet music. You can also buy it online, use google to find.

ONe way to make your fingers faster if you are a synth musician is to practice your material on the piano or any type of weighted keys. Play what you want to get faster at on a weighted keys instrument and then return to your synth and you can fly!!!! It also will give you endurance for lenghty playing sessions. If this is not your case, then look to the other advice posted. It's all a big help. God bless!!

Everyone has pretty much gave some very helpful hints.  Here is some of mine.  Practice all scales this includes blue scales on down.   Use the corrected figuring for each.  Practice until you can increase your speed.  I suggest that  you use a piano or a keyboard with piano size keys that are piano weighted.  I believe this was mention by someone else..

If you don't the correct scale fingerings, get a book with that has scales & arpeggios in it from any music store that sales keyboards and etc.  Also set up straight in your chair when you practiice and relax.  I have learned the hard way.  You can play a fast song all tensed up.

I hope this was a help.
