It's hard to tell because it seems like the recording and drumming are not in sync. I could be my bad hearing on my part though. I will let the experts give you advice on what to work on. Thanx for posting.

PS...I need to find that New Direction song so I can practice to it myself

oh wait i think the top was is out of sync, which is why i hate windows movie maker. throws the sound and video out of sync at wierd times. It was in sync when i edited it but sometimes when i upload, it goes out of sync again. I was gonna do a cover to fred hammonds they that wait, but though the audio would sync to the video, it would sync weird. Like i would be on time but my licks were all off, and the song would last longer than the video, even though i started the video before i started the song. At first i thought i really was off with all my licks, but later found out that movie maker just wasn't syncing right, it would sync, just not right.

I suggest that you invest $89 in Adobe Premiere Elements video editor. You should not have any sync problems. I use/have used it's big brother, Premiere Pro for the past 3+ years to edit for our church and other clients. No probs really. When audio has not lined up it has usually been the fault that frames were dropped when transferring the audio/video from the camera to the computer (capturing the video). This can be caused by the camera not being able to cleanly see the subject mater due to poor lighting so it skips those frames of movement until it can get a clear image.

Advice of on the sync issue. Clack your sticks together before you count in the song like to signal to start the track playing. That way if the audio doesn't line up on it's own you can go back into the timeline and line up the audio of the stick clack with the video movement of the sticks clacking together. Takes a little time but it is very exact.

Between adding more/better lights to your drumming area and buying Premier Elements you should solve your issue.

You can buy it at SAMS, COSTCO, Best Buy etc or online... You can get Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements together for $137.Much better options than Microsofts free options or stuff that came when you bought your PC.

yea i've had to take down at least 4 videos because of syncing issues, half of them because of windows movie maker, the other half because of youtube. Ima get a mic interface so even if the audio is out of sync with the video, my playing will still match the song, it just wont look like it is. I wanted sony vegas, but that software costs more than my drumset.
