Thanks for the review, looks like a good board. How easy was the sequencing? Korg seems to always be easy to sequence on hope this one is the same.

Also are there any preprogrammed groove kits?

It is pretty easy to sequence on.  I have a Triton Extreme so I'm familiar with the way Korg's sequencers are laid out.  The only thing is some things that to me seem like they should be on the front page because they are features accessed often are on other pages.  For example, the overdub or overwrite record option.

In my honest opinion, I prefer working with the Motif's sequencer more.  I just feel like I can move through the unit much quicker, but that may be just because I'm use to the unit.  Also, I like physical buttons because I'm a shortcut person.

Looks like I missed one of your questions.  I didn't get a chance to see if there were any pre-programmed grooves, but I'm sure there are.  I ran out of time because there was just so much to review.

That where we differ I had the motif classic and could never learn to sequence on it, just gave up on it. Korg was more user friendly for me, my korg x3 was so easy just like the m50.

Another question is on the audio quality of the song sequenced. How did you get it so clear?

Mrandrew, maybe if you had someone get you started on a Motif it might be different.  I would agree that the Korg's touchscreen interface is easier to get started with, however, I think the Motif's sequencer is quicker once you get over the learning curve.  In any case, to each his own.  It's actually a good thing that we have choice.

Hmm...I actually felt the audio sounded quite a bit different on the camera than how it sounded at GC.  I didn't do anything special.  All I did was just turn the camera on and tried to make sure that the volume wasn't too hot.
