Check this cat out. He is the brother of a very good friend of mine. He has quite a resume from Ronnie Laws to drummer/MD for the Backstreet Boys. Here's a clip of him hitting with the Greg Vail quartet. I'm posting this to show how diversity in your playing and styles can take you far in your musical journey. I mean this man has recorded, toured, taught, and even did segue/bumper music for television. If secular instrumental jazz music offends you, please don't watch.
