Back from Baghdad Iraq safe and sound..
« on: January 17, 2009, 07:13:33 PM »
Just wanted to say that God is good!! I just returned from my second tour(15 months)in Iraq.I am truly blessed and had the honor of being the sound technician and one of the drummers for our gospel service.Since i've returned i was again blessed with a new Sonor drumset that i've placed Evans EC2's on the tom batters,G1's on the reso's,and a Emad on the kick with stock reso.I'm still looking for some good used cymbals.I've gained lots of knowledge from all of you here and look forward to growing more. Now i'm looking for a new gospel home here in Savannah GA.God Bless!!!!

I would like to continually thank everyone for all your support and prayers. The lord continues to bless me with safe travels to and from and with the talent of playing these drums in his name.Sometimes i get frustrated talent wise as i'm not more advanced than others, but then i realize something. The lord provides me with exactly what he wants me to use and how he wants me to use it.All of the licks and fills are great, but i can see sometimes that they can easily overtake the true feeling of the sing if your not careful.I will continually pray for all of us that we will continually use the gift of the blessing and reach more of gods children.
