I NEED HELP Please with "Hold On" By Tye Tribbett

It was requested that I learn Hold on  before tomorrow.  I have tried and tried to catch it but it's a little tough.  If anyone can Please help a brother out.

Did u tell them that u may not be able to learn it that fast?  Just because someone requests it doesn't mean u should take it if u not sure u can get it done in time. 

By the way, I don't know how to play the whole song.  I only know bits and pieces, like a chord here or there.

That is pretty quick turnaround for a complex song.

The basic structure is:

Db/Db    Alright.  Weeping can last for
Bb/Db    one night Gotta endure to the
Eb/Eb     morning sun.  Gonna win the race
Gb/Gbmin    but ya got to run
Ab/Gb inverted     etc etc

That's very loose, but is the general structure for the chorus.  I'm still trying to learn the horn parts to figure out the rest of the chorus.

Rule of thumb.  Never agree to do a song you don't know the next day ESPECIALLY if it's a Tye Tribbet song!  As much as I love that song I haven't figured it out yet.  It sounds fairly easy (except for this one part).  I'll post the chords as soon as I have time to sit down and find them.

Thanx Guys I did take your advice and let them know that the song was a bit too much for me to learn that quickly.  It was understood.  Plus their choir hadn't learned it yet so it worked out.

I would have loved to play it on the organ but they only have a keyboard.  Yeah craig does have the basic structure I appreciate that craig.
