Taye drums are very well made drums. I saw them at NAMM in '04 I believe and an aquaintance of mine(Darin James) got an endorsement with them right on the spot. I have played the Go Kit at a live gig/impromptu audition. It belonged to another Taye endorsee Nioshi Jackson. It is unreal. That kit is an engineering marvel. I just wish I didn't have this loyalty thing for Pearl, because Taye drums are nice.
Another Taye endorsee you all should check out is Yvette “Baby Girl” Preyer. One of the sweetest young ladies you will ever meet. She is currently playing for Michael McDonald. She is a monster on the kit. I met her in Memphis back in '98. She sat in with the band I was playing with at the time and proceeded to whip my tail on my own kit. I was not mad though because she was putting it down.
