Here's something you could do in Ab to get to your 4 chord. Its jazzy.....
EBb/DGbBb
EbA/DGC
DAb/CEA
DbAb/CEbF --------> your 4 chord. (Dbmaj9)

I think i made a little mistake in the actual posting. The third chord should be:
DAb/CEAb
