...in this clip you will see D. Chambers and Tetsuo Sakurai doing their thing together.  I enjoyed this clip very much because this is along the lines of the music that I'm listening to and I wanted to share it with you guys that keep on dogging out D. Chambers.  He's still a great inspiration to the drumming and music community.  I love the Latin feel to what they did.  Enjoy and.....MORE COWBELL and keep it funky!!! ;D

Foundation Layout… great choice of words. Dennis makes me get the pad out, note taking time… Funky, musical, tornado chops (only meant for communication purposes), his timing and mechanics of motion is superb. Dennis even had to bounce a little on that one. The floor tom action is what I am concentrating more on these days… The bass player two hand technique ---- I need to perfect mine… Respect!

Totally inspiring! Great post. I love how Tetsuo plays the bass as a lead instrument.

Dennis seems to have lowered his tom height in recent years. About 7 mins in when Deninis Started doing that displaced grooveTetsuo could not get a handle on the center of the groove. He was in front of the beat pushing and Dennis what laying back behind the beat. Dennis really has a vicious pocket.

Yo J....

Thanks for reminding me why I started playing seriously in the first place.  This guy is off the charts!!  I owe so much of my playing to D-Man that its not funny at all!!  He makes everything look so easy.

Man!!
