I was diggin through the crates over the weekend and came across this Karizma track that Vinnie played on a while ago.  His half-time shuffle is crazy!  Hope you guys enjoy!

I have this album.  He's BANANAS!!

For all you Vinnie heads, check out Fusion for Miles.  Its a bunch of gutar players such as Mike Stern and Steve Kimmock playing Miles Davis' fusion stuff.  Its super cold from start to finish.

I am glad you guys enjoyed the track.  I have to admit that it was this track that really opened my eyes up to Vinnie (don't ping me too bad).... But juSe what is your favorite track on the Fusion for Miles album?

Thats a hard one because the whole album is killing.  I like the opening track Black Satin.  It has Vinnie playing in 7.  I'm also partial to the the Nefretiti track that has Bill Frisell on the gutar.  I just really like that song.  Its so simple, but it opens itself up for lots of interaction between the band.

I agree with you juSe on both of those tracks, Vinnie is doing his thing.  The track that I am feeling is Eighty One with Bill Connors on the guitar.  Not a complicated track, but some nice Ghost note snare work by Vinnie and the groove change over to the shuffle is pretty nice to.  Speaking of snare, I really like his snare sound on this album in general.
