The introduction could be used as worship chords! I can write out the chords to the intro if anybody's interested.

Tell me what you think. Be critical. I'm cutting a CD for my girlfriend's mom. I'd like to hear others input on this initial song before I start laying down lots of tracks.

This sounds great to me. It will make a good piano CD. You may want to ease off the sustain pedal in some places unless thats the sound you want. What are you playing on?  :D
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

Mysterman,

Do you mean don't use the sustain pedal at all during some chord changes? I never thought of that. I've heard other pianists do it though. I'll play around with that. The chords do sound heavy, I'll admit.

I'm using a Technics digital piano. I don't have the model number in front of me. It's over 10 years old. So, I'm sure there are better ones out anyway.

I like it. Im sorta a beginner/intermediate pianist. Those are some good chords I would luv to be able to play real softly if the preacher was talking or someone was giving a testimony.

So if u can, can u write out the chords.

also, does anyone have any nice....fancy worship chords in the key of Db. Soft, but not so plain chords. Chords that I can work with while the preacher is praying or whenever. From using Jermaine Griggs dvd, thats when I started to get good on my piano skillz, and I can play some nice lil soft chords from the video....but I want to play some fancy chords...if somebody can hook me up and post some chords...im all for it. Or email me at blackwiz87@yahoo.com

Chords in Db
To KNOW me is to UNDERSTAND me, to UNDERSTAND me is to APPRECIATE me...

Yours Truly...Tee

Intro to "Autumn Leaves"
arranged by playhear of LearnGospelMusic.com

Key of Bb

C / Eb G Bb D = Cmin7
F / Eb G A D = F7
B / D Gb A Db = Bmin7
E / D Gb Ab Db = E7
Bb / Db F Ab C = Bbmin7
Eb / Db F G C = Eb7
A / C Eb G B = Amin7(b5)
D / C E Gb B = D7
G / Bb D F A = Gmin7

Note that many of the chords are technically not part of the Bb major scale. That's jazz for you!

My bad, it's better to think of that song as played in the key of G minor, which makes more sense here.
