Where to place voices?
« on: February 17, 2006, 01:45:23 PM »
Hi everyone,
I'm a male choir president, recently appointed by my pastor. We are really just getting started. I am not a singer, I am a bass player but I sing with the choir for now. I don't want the members to think I'm not with them. Anyway I need advice on determining our voices and then where to place those voices on the choir in relation to each other. Our pianist is not able to do it, she's still learning and hasn't had any formal training. I will be gratefull for any help offered

The best thing I can tell you to do is to ask the MOM from a neighboring church to help you or a local music teacher (school choral directors are a plus if they are available!) ;D
Praise Jesus!
