Well. Make any necessary corrections. I know this song needs some work. Something always sounding like it is off key & like this song changes keys. But what if someone can rearrange some of the chords around to blend everything altogether smoothly & soundingly. Also. The Choir can change keys along with the instrument. Hee-Haw! Howdy!

Jesus' Baptism & Early Ministry
In the 15th yr. of the reign of Tiberius Caesar... the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the
desert. He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the
forgiveness of sins.
When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. & as he was praying, Heaven was
opened & the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. & a voice came to him from
Heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." Now Jesus himself was about thirty
yrs. old when he began his ministry....
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, & news about him spread through the whole
countryside. He taught in their synagogues, & everyone praised him.
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up & on the Sabbath day he went into the
synagogue, as was his custom. As he looked up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was issued to
him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners & recovery of sight for the blind, to release
the oppressed, to proclaim the yr. of the Lord's favor."
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant & sat down. The eyes of everyone in the
synagogue were fastened on him, & he began to say to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your
hearing." All spoke well of him & were amazed @ the gracious words that came out of his lips. Luke 3:1-3,
21-23, 4:14-22
