My New Custom Snare drum!!!!!
« on: January 18, 2009, 10:43:55 PM »
Hey LGM family,

Just wanted to show you guys my new additions to the snare drum collection.

One of the drums is a 14x7 Steambent Solid Bubinga Snare (this is only one thick ply), with a Trick Throw off, German snares, 1 inch tube lugs, Maple Reinforcement hoops, etc.  The other is a 15 ply Maple shell 13x6 I believe.  These drums are made by a craftsman here in NJ.  His name is Don Massa. His drums sound incredible, the guy does it all himself and really makes sure the customer is happy and the prices are VERY VERY VERY REASONABLE!!! Here's his information just in case anyone is in the market for custom drum or any type of drum.  He makes drumsets, snares, he'll cut edges, snare beds, etc.  Take care and God Bless.  Much love and respect.

Hey fam!!!

Hahaa, dude the drums are nice.  I have no complaints at all.  I got to play it at church on Sunday and it sounded soooo sweet.

Nice additions "Doza"! Great blessings.
I love the finish on the Bubinga.

Congrats.

Hey that's not a finish that's how Bubinga is, the only thing that I asked was that he put some laquering on it and that's it.  I've heard so much about Bubinga that I was like ok, let me get it since I had the dough.  I do not regret it at all.  Great sound, great craftsmanship, great product, and No complaints LOL!!! By the way the Trick throw off is really nice!!! If you can scoop one up you will not be dissapointed.  Great Stuff.  Take care and God Bless.  Much Love and respect.

lol. I know. I'm the kind of guy that loves to see natural wood grain rather than sparkle, glitter and paint. I was referencing I am very happy to see the natural beauty of the drum rather than some unnatural cover up.
 :D
Next time, I will be more clear.  ;D
Bubinga is an amazing wood! I love my warlord to death!  8)
