I just walked passed a tv that had an interview going on where a lady was claiming that if more women were elected to office there would be fewer sex scandals.

What do you say?

I'll be right back I need to get some lumber so I can build my dog house after I give my answer.

You seldom see women preachers caught up like that, either. Maybe the ladies are just smarter with theirs so as not to be caught...

okay, time for me to answer

The reason i feel this to be false is

1. As T-block said they, the fairer race, are just more sneaky. Clearly it would still be happening
2. Women like it just as much as men. and if they don't .... hmm I can't quote Luda up in here umm never mind
3. Gossip scandals would be ridiculous!
4. Men can separate business from pleasure
5. Most men were outed by women seeking to get ahead. Well trust in believe many men are far more competitive and would out the women in power even more often. Why cause we want what they got and we will get it.

I wouldn't say that. A guy who gets with a woman from his job or uses his job or the resources at his job to get with a woman isn't separating business from pleasure. I'm sure there are men who dated women from their jobs (or even competitors) and used the job to make their life heck after the break up.

I think that because of the way women are raised and their societal expectations there would be less sex scandals, BUT there would be other types of scandals. I'm not sure what they would be off the top of my head, but being a woman who is around more women than men I'm sure there's no shortage of ways to tempt a woman and make her look as bad (or worse) than a cheating man. You just gotta know which buttons to push.

So true. Shoot our former gov. chalked up about 15,000 text messages to his girlfriend on the state cell phone. What they fail to realize is that the only thing that can be held against them is using their position or work resources for the escapade. Aside from that, all we can really do is turn up our noses, and maybe not vote for them again.

I feel there would probably be more scandals if we talking about 2011 and beyond. If we were talking about 1980's and the proceeding, probably less. Women in general aren't as respectable as they once were. They take anything from men these days to a much greater degree. When beautiful women who should carry a higher level of respect are going crazy over Flava Flave??? I know that is tv but it is evident in common life as well.

The scandals in this day and time would not only involve men but other women as well.

This is evident from the young ladies I teach in high school. It is very much different today than it was 25 years ago and that's truth.
