I used the relative minor technique on Fill My Cup Lord when I go from Db to E and back but, it sounds natural. On both of the examples if you keep the melody note on top you can play basically any chord with the same note on top even if its in a different key. This of course is a trial and error as some chords won't sound as good. If you download please leave a comment on my blog.
