Abe Laboriel Jr. ( Some soft rock Pocket)
« on: November 29, 2007, 05:40:20 PM »
I remember first hearing him on a gospel "Jazz" album with his father and Justo Amario, you might have to have been a ron kenoly fan to know what I am talking about.  Anyways Abe Jr. is a great drummer, he plays with great dynamics and makes and uglier face than Eric Moore ( which is AMAZing) lol.

Abe is an extremely gifted musician. He is well worth studying... Ever so versatile, proficient, great groove and feel, sensitive to the musiccal environment and an growing master on the session scene. Wouldn't you love to get his gig calls?  :o

I've been following this young man since I first saw him playing for Seal back in the day.  He is solid and consistent.  Which shows because he is constantly working and getting the big time gigs.

Here's a side of him I'm sure many of you have never seen.
