I play standing during our services. I had never really played standing (for long periods of time) until I became MOM at my church. Our church platform is decent size, but with all the equipment we have on it, it makes things cramped, so the keys are for standing room only. However I long for the day I can sit and play during a service. The only advantage is I am free to move more and worship more while standing...
Like I said before if your the one leading worship than go ahead and stand. You have to motivate the congregation to jump and wave their hands and stuff.
