I need some seriuos help, prayer, and encrougement.........

My church is going through a serious time right now, because our pastor is becoming older, which the pastor is my grandfather, and people are really trying to take over behind his back and it's killing me and my sprit and my choir as well.

cftravis, I'm sorry to hear your situation.  I know it's hard not to get discouraged, but God can and will work things out, though it may not look like it right now.  Know that change is something that will happen to everyone, and sometimes it is not comfortable, but put your trust in him, and he'll bring you through okay.  I'm praying for you.

Be encouraged!  I've gone through something similar to your situation and I have to tell you, when there is division you begin to see people for who they really are.  This is for YOUR benefit. My father  who happens to be my pastor is teaching a series on "It's Not About You".  Sometimes we go through things so other people can experience what God wants them to.  God will take care of those who stay faithful to him.  Don't even begin to look back because that's what the devil wants you to do.  If nobody else will, you be the one to stay before God.  Just by reaching out for encouragement on this website says that you are seriously concerned about the situation.  I will keep you in my prayers.  I have no doubt in my mind that "weeping my endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning."  Make sure you make it to the "morning".  God Bless
