I'm not sure what to tell you. I dont know how good your ear is.  When i was younger.. i played along with alot of Cd's and Tapes... that helped my ear.  I'd practice all your scales and chords, and eventually you're gonna get better.  Practice makes Perfect.   Have someone listen to you sometime while you play.. (just incase your ear isn't as great as you thought)  ;) 

maybe someone else will have soem better advice for you..

You can download  E A R O P E  for FREE (You can use this program 15 times for free, after this you
need to buy a license, this is about 58 dollar, not so much for a good program like this!)  Even MUSIC PROFESSIONALS are using this
program to train their ears!   

Please, take the time to install this program and see it for yourself!

A few days ago l used this program for my first time. I must say that it helps me a lot!!

What has helped my ear is to play with other musicians as often as possible.  Some may be better than you are, really better ;D, some may be worse than you, but this is what helped my ear, because I began to pick up on things, hear things that helped me to play better.

you could look over peoples sholders or you could go and listne to a gospel cd and copy it

 I started playing in front of the televison, like when commercials come on I tried to find little melodies and chords I heard . Don't put pressure on yourself. Just have fun and experiment. The  mind and body improves greatly when your relaxed and having fun.
Just plain have fun and God will drop some big ears on you as you stay the course.
