God's Blessing LGM,
this challenge is for those from advance beginner to advance intermediate
(and anyone else who feel they need it).
Now i know your wondering who is going to sit at the keyboard for fifteen hours.
So let me explain.
The 15 hour is over the course will be over the course of 3 weeks. I figure I be nice and give you weekend off.
I'm going to do it 15 days straight.
The purpose of this challenge is to
1) increase your knowledge of music (learning all key)
2) connect mind and body (finger with the brain)
3) build your confidence
Here the keys for the 4 day of the first week B D F Ab . It an hour a day.
on the 5 you practice the all 4 keys 15 minute review for each key
Here the keys for the 4 day of the second week Db E G Bb . It an hour a day.
on the 5 you practice the all 4 keys 15 minute review for each key
Here the keys for the 4 day of the third week C Eb Gb A . It an hour a day.
on the 5 you practice the all 4 keys 15 minute review for each key
Now for the CHALLENGE
1) Do you major and relative minor scale at least 2 octave with both hand
EX. major scale: F G A Bb C D E F
minor scale: F G Ab Bb C Db Eb F
(those who think this is to easy move your hand in opposite direction meaning one hand goes up while the other
coming down for two octave)
2) do these set of progression 2-5-1, 5-1-4, 7-3-6
now the challenge here is to use chords you don't normally (you won't know it sound unless your try it)
3) This part is going to take most of time.
Pick a praise or worship song you love to play and add the progression to it.
this going to teach you about timing especially if you not use to using these progession because you
still have to end on the main chord at the right time.
Ex. If you know your going to the 4 chord put the 5 and 1 chords before it. You notice i did not put what
type of chords that up to you.
I pray that this enhance the skill of your choice of weaponary for God's battle.
