Recording & Sequencing w/ Yamaha S90es?
« on: April 16, 2006, 08:53:07 PM »
I was just wondering if there were any musicians out here familiar enough w/ the Yamaha S90ES keyboard to let me know whether or not this keyboard has the ability to record and sequence w/ internal memory?

I recently began playing w/ this board at my church and was wondering if I could get a little bit of help.

thanks

Im not sure about the S90es. The S90 is just a synth and you cant record. I would assume that it cant if the board says synthesizer on it. You can create voices I know and play back data in stored on cards and usb drives. There is no record button like on the motif on the S90.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

tell you what though..if you got a board with a sequencer just do like that for sequencing...I use my triton LE to record from the s90es with a midi cable...which I have two Es's...so I am trading one in for the new triton TR -76...triton stepping its game up...
