back in the game
« on: February 28, 2006, 08:01:52 PM »
wut up fellas.  My father started his own church a couple of years ago, and we don't have any musicians. I was a the drummer at our old church, but I havent played in a long while, and I've been out of the music scene a long time.  I know im more than a lil rusty right now,  :-), but i've been asked to play for a local group because they remembered my talent from back in the day.  Like I said, i really didn't keep up with what the best equipment was drum wise while I was away, but can anybody tell me whats the best brand or material to look for when buying a drum set?  I know there are many different good brands and it depends alot of times on what type of sound your looking for, but what is your preference?  I've always liked for my snare to pop. Before I go looking around and purchase, i thought I would get a lil feed back from some of the best drummers gospel has to offer.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks fellas.

stay blessed
