Kurzweil PC-88

Yall does the PC88 have good grand pianos, organs, and rhodes. I am thinking of getting one i can use when I go to ther churches and stuff. Could someone please tell me where hear the grand piano samples?

Chk that out...that's me playing on the Kurzweil PC-2x...same sounds as the PC88 just more sounds...hear anything that Kevin Bond has done (New Birth Mass. Marvin Sapp, TD Jakes, Kurt Carr) was all done on the PC-88 using the Classic Grand patch.

Was that a rhodes pacth from the pc-88 off of Marvin Sapp's Diary of a Psalmist on the song Lift Those hands or a sound midied from the Xp-80 he had on top.

The hodes patches was from the PC actually...he never midi the kurzweil to anything...that was always to itself

Well kurzweil did a good job with that board. I can maybe find one on ebay for $400-600. If you could help me look out for one I would greatly appreciate it.

I have the Kurz. PC-88 and I love it. I agree with DD it has great piano sounds. You can buy the expansion unit if you would like to add more sounds such as orchestra, strings, etc. The cost of the expansion is about 300.00

I had the Kurzweil PC88, (Great Board) i upgraded to the PC2X(Better Board)  And finally i purchased the Kurzweil K2600(The best keyboard i have ever owned) it is a full production station, reads all samples from Roland, Akai, and Can sample any keyboard.  You can also run effects throug the board. The Heart of my Studio
