Title: Which Drum Pad/Machine to get?
Post by: stylusbass on October 27, 2013, 03:39:14 AM
Hey LGM fam,

I need help finding a good Drum machine for my drummer to use on live performances. Something that gets the Job done but still considered as a good drum machine. Can someone recommend me to a good one?

Ps: My drummer plays primarily Gospel/Hip-hop/R&B

Thanks a lot  :)

Hey man, I'd suggest the MPC Akai 1000, there's alot that you can do with it for hip hop, gospel, pop, dance, whatever genre you're playing. Either you or your drummer can control it.

The Roland SPD-X is the industry standard. The Roland SPD-30 Octopad is the next on the list and Yamaha 12-pad is the next best option as far as live performance pads.
