Post by: pressingon3 on June 17, 2013, 10:13:38 AM
Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow, :)

First of all, a big shout out goes to Val215 for assisting me with the parts to  "Awesome" by Pastor Charles Jenkins.  Thank you SO MUCH! ;D. Next, I have a" Mrs. Know-It-All" on the Youth Choir, and she keeps saying that there is harmony on the part of  the song where the choir repeats NoOne Else Can Receive The Glory, NoOne Else Can Receive The Praise, He's Holy, Righteous , Omnipotent, MIghty, Omega,......etc.  If there is harmony during the part of the song, would someone PLEASE assist me by giving the notes for S, A, T.   BTw,  I hope that I'm not asking too much  from the helpful folk on this site. Lastly, I can pay you for your time and efforts  " I am serious" because we have a choir anniversary coming up shortly and I want to make sure that Im prepared.  Thank you so much in advance for your help with this particular song.

Enjoy your Day!

So from I heard that part doesn't start in harmony until you go up to the F chord (the 2nd time going up since it goes up twice since the song starts at Eb).

Altos have the melody. No one else can receive the glory, no one else can receive the praise.
So in the F key, the alto note is No (F) one (F) else (F) can (F) re (F) ceive (E) the (F) Glo (F) Ry (D) y (C) and then no (F) one (F) else (F) can (F) re (F) ceive (E) the (F) praise (F).

Since the altos have the melody, the soprano note will be above and the tenor note will be below (you probably already knew that so sorry for insulting your intelligence).

Soprano note: No (A) one (A) else (A) can (A) re (A) ceive (G) the (A) Glo (A) Ry (G) y (F) and then no (A) one (A) else (A) can (A) re (A) ceive (G) the (A) praise (A).

Tenor note: No (C) one (C) else (C) can (C) re (C) ceive (C) the (C) Glo (C) Ry (Bb) y (A) and then no (C) one (C) else (C) can (C) re (C) ceive (C) the (C) praise (C).

Hope this helps you out and it's no charge bro! Serve well!
