What is the size of your Choir?
My Choir has about 15 active members.....
-
we have 18 total
-
About 10-12 - smaller church.
-
Church choir has 25 voices
Community choir has 40 voices
Former college choir had 50 voices before I left.

COOL......

We don't have a choir, we have a praise team consisting of 8 members.
-
We also have a very small praise team. Some sing, some don't. They are all there. My prayer is that God blesses us in a mighty way, and that I can be faithful continually, and that members get more committed to praising God in song. We need to loosen up, and not be afraid to express our gratitude. Same goes for me!

a larger choir does help but it doesnt matter, remember who your singing for, and you'll sing wonderful! :)
-
We have a Praise and Worship team of 8 members
-
We have about 10-15 somewhat faithful members.
We had a praise team made of 4 different members that didn't want to sing in the sanctuary choir.
-
For the adults, we just have a praise team for now of 4 singers, both our keyboardist and drummer lead songs too though so I guess that's 6. The teens have 5 active members, all girls :)

No choir here, either. Just a P&W band: about 5 guitarists, 2 drummers, 2 bass players, 4 keyboardists, 1 trombone, 1 violin, 1 flute, 1 percussionist and about 9 singers and everybody (but me 'cept when I'm on vacation) rotates each week.

HaHA! Well, lemme tell you that it's nothing short of answered prayer that we have so many.
Not even 2 years ago there was me and just 2 other somewhat beginner guitarists who could only serve about 1 week per month, which left me handling the guitar duties alone many times...and not that I can't, but I was really missing having someone on rhythm to free me up to just sing, lead and play comp parts.
So, we prayed and trusted and God delivered some new players to the church and brought up a couple others from within the congregation who were also beginners, but they showed a ton of promise and have put in the hard work and practice to become solid players in short time.
Plus, we've got this other new guy who hasn't committed to membership, yet, but he's close and he's a really good electric player.
Lord, give me some days off soon... ;D

Perhaps you'd like to send one of your keyboardists to the state of Maryland? ;D
Please and thank you.
