I'm having trouble with knowing what do with my right hand when running my bassline with my left hand on shout music....
My intro sounds nice, but when I start running the bass line, the sound I'm looking for with my RH chords are just not there. So does anybody know those nice/basic/traditional chords to play with my RH while I'm running the bass in C#?

I mainly alternate between minor 1 (or i7) and minor 2 (or ii7) chords. Example in C#:
alternating minor 1 & minor 2 chords
C#-E-G#
A#-D#-F#
G#-C#-E
F#-A#-D#
E-G#-C#
D#-F#-A#
(repeat)
alternating minor i7 & minor ii7 chords
B-C#-E-G#
A#-C-D#-F#
G#-B-C#-E
F#-A#-C-D#
E-G#-B-C#
D#-F#-A#-C
(repeat)
To get used to the chords, first practice them going up and down the keyboard. You can play them in any order. You can even mix up playing regular minor and minor 7th chords as you see fit.
After you got a good handle on them, add in the bass and see what you can come up with.

As far as practicing, try 4/4 time and play one chord for every 4 counts, then 1 chord for every 2 counts, then finally 1 chord for every count. Increase speed until it's as fast as u want it to be.
Then after that, experiment with syncopation, playing them on different counts other than the normal count.
