Just wondering is there a big difference between the two.Which is the preferred.

Yes, one is made by (http://www.noisyboyesmusic.com/images/logos/mapex_logo.jpg) and the other is made by (http://www.paynemusichouse.com/images/pdp.jpg)

Both companies make good drums. I have the PDP CX and I'm happy with it...
