Title: Requesting Prayer

Hey yall,

I think some of you know I was recently blessed with a granddaughter..

Well, we found out last week that there was damage done to her skull when she was born. The doctor used some kind of suction device on her head to deliver her. Looks as though he didn't use it correctly.

She'll be going to Lebonhuer Hospital Tuesday to see what can be done to correct the damage. Seems he dented her skull. Please keep her in your prayers...

I also didn't think they were still using those type of devices. I heard they are still using forceps also.

I was wrong about the date they are going to the hospital. It's "March" 3rd. Mean while the baby had been crying just about all the time. She was told it's colic but I don't know. How do they know it's not her head that hurts? And I couldn't understand why they are waiting so long to send her to Lebonheur..

The mother is not but 18 and I don't think she and her mother are pushing to have this baby seen about. It makes me so angry just to talk to her but I don't let her know that. They talk like it's not all that serious and maybe it's not, I don't know. THere's not a whole lot I can do about it. She wants me to get her for the weekend. I've explained to her that I'd rather wait until she has been seen by the childrens doctor. (I wouldn't want anything to happen to her on my watch....I'd die!)

Oh and believe me they have been quick to mention an attorney.

Please just continue to pray for her, Nykia, and I'll keep you all posted... :)
