Title: IT WAS SUCCESSFUL!!!!!!!

WELL, I HAD JUST GOT BACK FROM CLINICALS... WE HAD 5 CASES (BODIES)!! THREE ELDERLY WOMEN, ONE TALL ELDERLY MAN, AND A 2 YEAR OLD GIRL!!!!!


OH, IT WAS SAD, BUT I AM HAPPY THAT WE PREPARED THEM FOR THEIR FUNERALS!!!!

Congrats!!! I know a 21 year old man who pepares bodies also. He said he talks to them like they are still alive. It makes the job goes easier and faster. It takes special people to do a job like that. Someone has to do.

Yeah, we sometimes do that.. For example, if one of the deceased arms fall off the embalming table, we be saying "Umm, Mister you gonna have to cooperate with me! Now, please keep your arms in place!!!!"   ;D   ;D    ;D    ;D

Seriously, when you talk to them.. It kind of help ease the TENSION... My instructor was telling me to put my fingers in the deceased mouth to get a strong grip for i can SHAVE him....  Then one of my classmate was like you better be careful he might bite you!!! I was like** oh no ** he wont bite me because I am his FRIEND!!!

Congrats, and yes ya'll are right who said it takes special people.  But I have seen some who take extra care for the deceased and the family, and I have seen some who just don't give a flying cow about nothing but the money.  And why some funeral homes don't do any updating? I've been in some and they still have stuff from the 60's and 70's in that joint. Sorry I done went off.

Anyway congrats again.
