Toms: Clear EC2's or Pinstripes( :-\),  Im not the biggest fan on Pinstripes but.....

Splash/Crash!... GMS/Sabe/J_Kay can help you out in that area...

What kind of drum set do you have? wood? etc. GB.

First question, all important question, whats your budget like with the cymbals?
Then, What is your current cymbal setup? Why a SuperKickII for your bass drum?

i got a pearl session series, its wood yes. the budget for my cybals would have to be like 130 the most per cymbal of course smaller ones would be cheaper bringing up the price for the 14 inch. my current cymbals is first a 12" B8, 10"B8, 16"pro sonix, on top of that an 8"B8 pro, then a broken 14"zildjian, then a 20"Paiste 1000 ride. and im replacing the 8,10, and 14 inch cuz they are way to old and messed up. and if you havent heard the super kickII, it is the best sounding head IMO, i love it so much, the built in muffling thingy makes it sound just, beautiful.

I have heard the superkick. To each his own. IMEHO it chokes the life out of the kick. I love the EMAD or EMAD2. OK, with a nice shell like the Pearl Sessions, if you want to go with EVANS, I would say go with a G2 clear or coated on the batter side with a G1 on the reso side. If you want to try the EC heads (EC means Edge Control) then I would recommend the EC1's which are a single ply. They will not take away from the drum as much as a the 2 ply. If you go with the EC's use a Reso Glass head on the Reso side of the tom.

For your cymbals...what brand do you want to go with? Do you want beginner cymbals still or do you want to step up in quality?

Cool. Now obviously, Sabian Cats can give you some other options, but this is a starting point.
I would go with a Sabian HHX Evolution 10" Splash. its about $129
Something cheaper is the 10" Sabian AA Metal X splash. its about $99
Regular Sabian AA Splashes would be a third option. Brilliant Finish: 8" is $79 and 10" is $99

Now on to the crash:
There are too many options to mention, but you can get one from $129 up to $199.

The best advice I would give you would be this: Choose whats more important for you, Crash or Splashes. Once you know what you want more, say for example its the Crash, search for the crash that sounds great to your ears, under your sticks. Once you do that, then search for your splashes to compliment the Crash.

Good Luck and God Bless.

Pearl session kits are either Birch or Maple, thats what he was asking when he asked wood? but at any rate dude you can def beef up your cymbal game if u can spend up to $130 per cymbal, split it up get you a decent crash for 130x3=390, you can get a 16in Sabian AAX, or Zildjian A cst for $160 and avg $115 per splash, 8in A cst about 89.99 and a 10in 99.99 and dude bargain, especially since your buying more than 1 item at a time

...man, I was going to help but poster stated that the Aquarian SKII is the best head out.  This quote is coming from a cat that answered, "Yes, the Sessions is wood."  I guess it's time for me to go to another thread. LOL  j/k

Okay let me get serious.  If your Sessions kit is made out of Birch Wood I would say that it's cool to stick Clear Remo Pinstripes on it.  I've heard two Pearl SBX's (Birch Wood) with Remo Pinstripes and they sounded outstanding. :o  Yeah I said it.  Okay so if you have the Pearl SMX (Maple Shell) which I use at church, you can use these:  A.  Clear Remo Emperors/Batter Side
                           Clear Remo Ambassadors/Resonant Side

                      B.  Clear Evans G2's/Batter Side
                           Clear Evans G1's/Resonant Side

                      C.  Coated Evans G2's/Batter Side
                           Clear Evanss G1's/Resonant Side

                      D.  Clear Evans EMAD II with the thick ring for your kick drum.

I hope this may at least point you in the right direction.

yeah the emporers. but they were pinstripe. i dont have much experience with the pinstripes but i think i need studio rings or something to stop the vibrating crazyness. or maybe just taped on tissue paper.

Okay so, you bought Clear Pinstripes.  Now my questions to you are as follows:  How long have you been playing drums?  Do you know how to tune drums?  What wood is your Pearl Sessions? (not that it really matters)  Is it an SMX or an SBX? (SMX = Maple wood and SBX = Birch wood)  Tell the truth...we're here to help not to make fun of you.  Serious.

well ive been playin the drums since i was 2 which would be about 13 years. im 15 now. this is not my first time tuning drums, ive tuned probably like 25 sets by now. and they usually come out very good. ive tuned my churches set about 4 times and ive never had this problem with heads. im not totally sure but i wanna say its birch. its a very light wood color, and i think maple is darker?

I have been at it for about 15 years now and I still suck at tuning... Its nothing to be ashamed of either.

Did you...

crack the heads properly?
clean the bearing edges from dust etc?
seat the head properly?
check the lugs etc?

That almost always in one of the problems man! When I head is fully seated it sounds ALOT better than when its new! Give the glue sometime to wear off and then see what you think.. Check your tension Rods too!...
