I was recently appointed as a youth leader at my church. The youth came up to me because they wanted to sing more updated songs. Granted there is nothing wrong with the older ones, but they are losing the interest of the youth causing the youth membership to become short in numbers. In a meeting with the pastor he told they youth leaders to find things that will interest them. So could anyone give me suggestions of some songs that can be sung by children ranging from age 3-about 17?

there's probably more, just use the search and type in youth choir to find. ;)

Actualy I need this too...I've been asked (more so told...long story) to bring forth a few songs for a youth choir at another church in less than two weeks. I haven't touched a piano/keyboard in 4 years. So I'll probably be using some of these suggestions too.
Here's a few more
* God Is Good - Deitrick Haddon
* Everybody - Youth For Christ
I'm with you too on the oldies, there's nothing wrong with them at all, here's a few of those too:
* On The Battlefield - Douglas Miller
* Who's On The Lord's Side - Rev. Timothy Wright
* Joy - Rev. James Moore
