Title: Suggestions needed,, for real

OK

I have some music that is going before a publisher and a label in a couple of weeks.

I write a lot, play a little and sing when you tell me I have too.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo................. .

The question is:

I have a whole lot of options in front of me right now.  If you were me would you:

Just write (lyrics and music) and just keep it at home (where I go to church)

Buckle down and get good at playing and put some sort of group together to record with me(no I will not be singing)

Find a group, label or publisher to write for

OR something else

I do not know.

I say not to worry about it too much. If the publisher and the label like you then they might find musicians for you or give you a record deal or something. This is big and I am sure God will tell you what to do. He will also show you the way. God bless you dionnar.

Yes, it is just as Derik stated, the main thing here is to seek God's Divine consel and He will direct your path. Each way that you have mentioned are great door openers, but MAKE SURE that God gives you direction and the key to the right door that is for you!!  God bless, Bishop Cole

Hey Dionna, follow the path that God gives you,and also make sure that you copy write your stuff.

Advice:

Be still and know that He is God.  Listen for His voice with direction.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him - so you will not end up signing with someone for their glory and not God's.

Realize that your gift was given to you by God for to glorify God and to edify others.

Congratulations on whichever way the Lord leads you!!!
