Title: Raise them Flutes to the Lord
Post by: fluteman on April 22, 2006, 07:08:08 AM: Hey this is a call to arms, I have been checking and I have noticed that there are not to many flute players on here representing for our instrument. Don't get me wrong I love all you brass player, but there is no sound sweeter than the flute taking lead of the band and ushering in the presence of the Lord, well then again I may just be partial, (I have been playing for 18 almost 19 years.)

I would really like to start a on-going dialouge for flute players, I want to find out the guidelines for posting video and audio on the site, hopefully we can get this going real soon. Just need to know who out there is interested.

You will have to let piccolos and fifes in, as well as recorders and the Irish/So.African tinwhistle...and then the saxes and clarinets will come calling, since they share the same fingering (though not the same pitches)

p.s if anyone has individual notes for He wants it all by Forever Jones please let me know i realllly want to learn this song on my flute!! :D
