This is a slightly different way I play this song.
The difference is I am using more Seventh chords.
I love You Lord today
Treble/Bass. I often double the Bass for more sound as needed e.g. F-F
--CEFA/F-F(Fmaj7)----DFGBb/G(Gmin7)
I love You, -----------I love You
BCEG/E---------- CEFA/F
I love You Lord today
ACDF(Dmin7)-------BDF/B
Because You care for me
-------------BDFA/B---CEG/C
In such a special way
---CEGC/C---CEFA/F
And yes I praise You
--DGBb/G--------EGAC/A-----ACDF/D
I lift You up, I magnify Your Name
------DFGBb/G-----------BCEG/E------ACEF/F
That's why my heart is filled with praise
***********************************************
My heart, my mind,
My soul belongs to You
You paid the price for me
Way back on Calvary
And yes I praise You
I lift You up
I magnify Your Name
That's why my heart is filled with praise
(modulate)

NOW THAT'S WHAT MISS KITTY NEEDS. I HAVE BEEN PRACTICING ON THAT ONE AND I THINK I HAVE IT.
WHEN MISS KITTY ASK FOR CHORDS PLEASE MAKE THEM SIMPLE. IT TAKES ME A WHILE TO GET IT BUT, WHEN I DO I'LL PLAY IT TO THE GLORY OF GOD. MISS KITTY DON'T HAVE NO TIME TO PLAY AROUND. I LOVE YOU ALL. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. IF IT'S ANY SONG THAT YOU CAN HELP ME WITH, PLEASE DO.

I think if you learn one "complex" at a time, the chording will increase your playing and help you ADD to the stuff you play now.
God Bless :)

JUST KEEP'EM COMING FOR THE OLD 71 LIKE MISSKITTY, THIS MIND HAS TO KEEP BEING RENEWED EVERY DAY BUT A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME. I STARTED LATE AND IF I COULD LEARN TO PLAY HYMNS AND SOME PRAISE SONGS A FEW FASTER SONGS SIMPLIFIED. I'LL LEAVE ALL OF THE UP-BEATS TO YOU YOUNGER ONES. I THANK GOD FOR YOU ALL OF YOU. AS THE SONG SAYS "GO AHEAD" GO AHEAD".
LOVE YOU

I would encourage all beginners to learn this style of chords.
It really is worth the initial pain. F/D is another way of looking at Dm7. Am7 can be written as C/A
L.H. R.H. is good but can be time consuming. This makes the number system easier to understand as well.
C F/D
I love you. I love you
G/B C
I love you lord today
Am7
Because you cared for me
Dm7 Gsus
In such a special way
C F/D
And yes I praise you. I lift you up
Gm7 F/C C FM7 Fm/Bb
I magnify your name
C/G C/A F/D Gsus C
Thats why my heart is filled with praise

I think writing out sheet music is a pain too. I think chord symbols is a happy compromise.
