I bought an Alejandro Sanz DVD which has him playing on a Latin setting and his playing is just so great there as well. He's all around superb. A true musician. Thanks for sharing.

Post by: sugabear on March 25, 2006, 05:00:29 PM: Nat Townsley has rapidly risen on my favorite drummers list. I love his playing all around. He seems to have a church background, but he doesn't sound "churchy". I don't even know who else is on the MD Fest 2003 because this is the only guy I really watch. He's very smooth and seems to look abosolutely relaxed behind the kit. He's next on my top list, next to Lil' John. It seems my favorite drummers always lack web presence so it's kinda hard finding stuff on them.

BTW, I met Nathaniel at NAMM a couple years a go and he is such a cool dude. Always has that HUGE smile ;D that says, "I'm a nice guy"....

...Alejandro Sanz en concierto - Gira No Es Lo Mismo 2004. Nathaniels' playing is lovely on here. (Latin Setting)
